Well Hello Again....6 months later.....

Not so good at this blog thing at all.... been a while.
New Class Pet
Well life has been crazy these last 6 months. Crazy then Crazy now, me that is. August Our school year started at the FUMC, I spent most of that month getting ready for a toddlers class that me and another teacher was going to be teaching. I have now changed up my job I am in every class throughout the day. I really enjoy it a whole lot! At the School we have a few new pets This is Ratatouille she is a 10 month old rat, YES I said it RAT she is the sweetest thing ever! We also have a new Turtle named Franklin whom I adore!! He is not Shy by no means. I also ventured off to The Woodlands for a quick visit before the end of the Summer. Ooooh how I love that place. September was about the same as August. But October took the Cake with the most CRAZY month, because of Health issues I had to have Hysterectomy it was very hard for me to accept at first but I now this ok, and like my Family and friends has reminded me day in and day out God has a plan, and just knowing that makes everything ok. With Surgery comes days off (3 Weeks) Doc told me (6-8 Weeks) One week at home KILLED me so I can't image what 6 would have done. lol But he let me go back to work with light duty. But during that time I ventured off to Harding and spent time with my friends as I "relaxed" I got to take part in Lectureship at Harding. It was WONDERFUL! I also got to go on a little Arkansas  adventure with Gracie and Kayla to Jacksonport, AR State Park :)

Just a little History for you on the park...
"In the 1800s steamboats made Jacksonport a thriving river port. During the Civil War, the town was occupied by both Confederate and Union forces because of its crucial locale. Jacksonport became county seat in 1854, and constuction of a stately, two-story brick courthouse began in 1869. The town began to decline in the 1880s when bypassed by the railroad. The county seat was moved in 1891 to nearby Newport, and Jacksonport's stores, wharves and saloons soon vanished.
Today, exhibits in the park's 1872 courthouse and programs by park interpreters share the story of this historic river port. "

We all had a WONDERFUL time! :) Halloween. I actually went to a Haunted House this year and had a GREAT time. I showed out is what I did. :) Laughed and Cut up...better than screaming. lol
